A SUP equipment brand needed to scale from a single WooCommerce store to a cross-listed marketplace presence — without a team to do it manually. Built from scratch: a Python-first automation pipeline that scraped competitor data, enriched and translated product listings using LLMs, and published everything to WooCommerce and Rasprodaja.eu with no human in the loop. What started as a product upload problem became a full-stack engagement spanning AI pipelines, custom plugins, shipping logistics, and internal tooling.
European literature is full of masterworks English audiences have never heard of. Discover Europe is a YouTube channel built to change that — but the real engineering challenge was making it scalable. Built a 7-script Python pipeline that takes a raw eBook in any European language and outputs a fully produced, multi-voice audiobook: cleaned, translated by parallel AI agents, speaker-attributed, voiced through ElevenLabs, loudness-normalised, and chapter-stitched. Each book makes the pipeline better.
The challenge was translating cutting-edge immunology into a manufacturable, cost-viable process. Starting from a 14-day industry-standard cycle, the engagement covered every layer — bioreactor selection, GMP workflow redesign, CMO sourcing, regulatory groundwork, and investor communication. The output: a platform that could realistically move toward clinical trial manufacturing, documented clearly enough that non-technical stakeholders could engage with the decisions.
Most scientific papers fail peer review not because the science is wrong, but because the presentation is. NeBo was built to fix that gap — a lean, distributed consulting firm offering structured pre-submission review to researchers in molecular and conservation biology. Built and run from scratch: client acquisition, quality frameworks, team coordination, and delivery. A 100% publication acceptance rate across 20 clients over two years speaks to the model.
Young researchers rarely have a seat at the policy table. This project was about earning one. Led a 20-person volunteer team to produce substantive R&D reform proposals, which were adopted into Slovenia's national research strategy. The VTIS White Book — the first of its kind in the country — is still cited by NGOs driving ongoing reform. The core skill here was the same as in science: structure the problem, gather evidence, communicate clearly to the people who can act on it.
PhD research is often treated as purely academic. This one wasn't. The synthetic biology toolkit developed here was assessed for commercial potential, and the ML pipeline built to process microscopy data accelerated experimental throughput in ways that matter beyond the lab. The entrepreneurship prizes — won twice running — reflect a deliberate effort to bridge the research and market sides of the same work. A pattern that runs through everything.
